SparkAI Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information:

1.1 Account Information: Email, phone number, nickname, avatar, and other information necessary for registration and use of the Service.

1.2 User Content: Chat records, partner information, profile data, avatars, cover images, and display-surface photos actively uploaded by users. Photos may contain the user's or another person's face image.

1.3 Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifier, network status, etc.

1.4 Log Information: Login time, operation records, IP address, pages visited, etc.

1.5 Payment Information: Order records, transaction numbers, etc. (excluding sensitive payment information such as bank card numbers).

1.6 Location Information: We do not collect users' precise geographic location information.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

2.1 Provide, maintain, and improve service functions;

2.2 Conduct AI analysis and generate personalized suggestions;

2.3 Personalize user experience and recommend relevant content;

2.4 Develop new features and services;

2.5 Ensure service security and prevent fraud and abuse;

2.6 Communicate with users and send service notifications;

2.7 Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

3.1 Data Security Measures:

• HTTPS encrypted transmission;

• Passwords stored using one-way encryption;

• Regular data backups;

• Access control implementation.

3.2 User data is stored on secure servers located in mainland China.

3.3 Data Retention Period:

• User data deleted within 30 days after account cancellation;

• Except where required by law (e.g., transaction records retained for 5 years).

3.4 We take reasonable measures to ensure data storage security, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Except for the following situations, we will not share your personal information with third parties:

4.1 With your explicit consent;

4.2 As required by laws and regulations or mandatory requirements from government departments;

4.3 Necessary to protect our or users' legitimate rights and property safety;

4.4 Sharing with authorized partners: such as payment service providers, cloud service providers, etc. We will require them to comply with this Privacy Policy.

4.5 In case of merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, we will require the new holder to continue to comply with this Privacy Policy.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

5.1 Right to Access: You have the right to access your personal information held by us;

5.2 Right to Correction: You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information;

5.3 Right to Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your personal information (except as otherwise required by laws and regulations);

5.4 Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw previously given consent;

5.5 Right to Account Cancellation: You can cancel your account through in-app settings, and data will be deleted after cancellation;

5.6 Right to Data Export: You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data.

4A.1 Before the first use of each applicable feature, the app identifies the data sent, recipient, and purpose and obtains separate explicit consent. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not affect features that do not require third-party AI.

4A.2 Text AI: With consent, selected chat records, user and partner details (which may include names, gender, relationship status, tags, and notes), profile data, and custom questions are sent to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio Qwen, provided by Alibaba Cloud, solely to generate the requested analysis, advice, or reply.

4A.3 Photo AI: Only when the user enables visual analysis and separately consents, selected avatars, covers, or photo groups, photo notes, and relationship context are sent to Qwen to evaluate visible people, scenes, basic image quality, social cues, and conversation hooks.

4A.4 Face data: SparkAI does not use Face ID, authenticate or identify people, extract or store face geometry, create face templates, or confirm anyone's identity from a photo. A photo is processed only as ordinary image content for a single visual inference.

4A.5 Storage and retention: Original photos are encrypted in transit and stored on SparkAI servers in mainland China for no more than 30 days. They are deleted sooner when the user deletes them or completes account cancellation. Diagnostic results follow the retention period for other user content. Data sent to Qwen is limited to what is necessary for the requested inference. Alibaba Cloud publicly states that API customer data is encrypted and is not used for model training without explicit consent.

4A.6 Sharing and protection: Except for the Qwen inference service described above, we do not sell or disclose photos or face images to other third parties. We require this processor to provide the same or equivalent privacy and security protection and process data only under our service instructions.

4A.7 Consent can be withdrawn under Settings—Privacy & AI Data Permission. After withdrawal, SparkAI stops sending new applicable data to Qwen. Users may also delete photos, related records, or their account.

4B.1 Alipay Payment SDK is provided by Alipay (China) Network Technology Co., Ltd. Only when the user chooses Alipay does it process app, device, network, order, product, and transaction-result information necessary to invoke Alipay, complete payment, and verify the result. 4B.2 WeChat OpenSDK is provided by Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems Company Limited. Only when the user chooses WeChat authorization, WeChat Pay, or another applicable WeChat feature does it process app, device, network, authorized WeChat account, order, and transaction-result information necessary to complete and verify that feature. 4B.3 Huawei Push Kit is provided by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. It may process basic app information, device model, operating-system and system-setting information, and network information such as connection status, carrier, SSID, and IP address to deliver service notifications. 4B.4 Huawei IAP Kit is provided by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. Only when the user purchases a digital item does it process Huawei account identifiers, app, device, network, product, order, and transaction-result information necessary to complete and verify the purchase and provide after-sales support. 4B.5 Pasteboard read permission (ohos.permission.READ_PASTEBOARD) is used only when the user actively pastes or imports content, to import chat text the user confirms. SparkAI does not continuously read the pasteboard in the background or save its content before confirmation.

4B.6 Gallery write permission (ohos.permission.WRITE_IMAGEVIDEO) is used only when the user actively saves an image or video, to write the selected content to the system gallery. Refusing the permission does not affect other features.

4B.7 These SDKs process only information necessary for the corresponding feature. We do not use them to sell personal information and require the providers to protect information under applicable law and their published privacy statements.

6.1 We use local storage (LocalStorage) technology to save your preference settings and login status.

6.2 We do not use third-party cookies for user tracking.

6.3 You can clear local storage data through browser settings, but this may affect the use of some features.

7.1 Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services.

7.2 We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third-party websites.

7.3 We recommend that you read the privacy policies of third-party websites.

8.1 The Service is not intended for minors under 18 years old.

8.2 If we discover that we have collected personal information from minors without verifiable parental consent, we will delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

8.3 If you are the guardian of a minor and discover that the minor is using the Service without authorization, please contact us.

9.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

9.2 The updated policy will be published in the application, and major changes will be notified to you through in-app notifications.

9.3 Continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
